Field Work

Please contact your local Society chapter for any upcoming opportunities.

Lab Work

The amount of time required in the lab processing excavated artifacts is nearly 3-4 times the amount of time spent in the field. For this reason, and to be good stewards of the archeological data we excavate, putting in as much time in the lab is a way to better preserve the past and learn things about archeological sites and the people who lived there. Please consider volunteering some of your time to processing these artifacts as it is CRUCIAL to archeological research!
